Speak to the people on their level, stay on common grounds
Start by pointing out the differences
Tell them that they will be punished by Allah

We dont know what was his religion
Because the Tawrah and the Injeel were revealed after him.
Because he lived in Arabia
Who are most worthy of saying that they’re on the religion of Ibrahim (as)?
Those who come from his tribe
Those who lived at his time
Those who follow him.
And a faction of the People of the Scripture say [to each other], "Believe in that which was revealed to the believers at the beginning of the day and reject it at its end that perhaps they will abandon their religion, (72) Why would the people of the scripture do this?
To put doubts in the hearts of believers
They wanted to learn about Islam
They found Islam hard so they left it
But yes, whoever fulfills his commitment and fears Allah - then indeed, Allah loves those who fear Him. (76)
What do you need to do to get the love of Allah?
Fulfill promises
Taqwa
Be a Muslim
What will happen to those who betray trusts and say false promises?
No share in the Hereafter
Allah will not speak to them or look at them on the Day of Resurrection
Allah will not purify them and they will have a painful punishment
