Being positive
throughout the good
and bad times is a very
important skill for
entrepreneurs to have;
it will enhance the
overall performance of
their business idea and
success.
These skills are more
interpersonal characteristics
that can be adapted and
improved.
Being driven towards your
goals is one of the most
important aspects of being a
successful entrepreneur.
Pushing your ideas
and persistent, as
an entrepreneur
makes you look
determined and
serious about what
it is you want to do
which is highly
important.
The act of getting the best value for your money is
highly important, therefore being good with your
words and being able to persuade people with your
opinion is a perfect attribute to have for this role.
Being able to bounce back and remain
positive after things don't go quite to plan is
very important as an entrepreneur; to not let
things knock you down and be able to get
back up again.
Having the will to do things
yourself without being told to do
it is a highly recommended skill
for an entrepreneur, it shows
that you can make decisions
based on your own mind and
not have other people telling
you their opinion and altering
what you think about things (this
is just one example of
initiative).
Having the courage to take risks and be able to
deal with the outcome if they go wrong is a good
attribute to have a an entrepreneur as you will
need to take risks in order to succeed and
develop your ideas.
Setting weekly, monthly or
yearly goals is important as
an entrepreneur, mainly to
monitor your progress and
give yourself something to
work towards.
Having a vision of what it is you
want from your entrepreneurial
plan will give you a better idea
of where you want to be and
help you to physically create
what you see in your head.
This is a skill that is helpful in all areas of life, not just as
an entrepreneur. It will help to put across you idea in a
more thorough way and let people know what it is you
want. - the result will be much more accurate and smooth
running.
