What stage is this?
Infants develop a sense of trust when caregivers provide reliability, love etc. Failure to do so will result in mistrust which can cause insecurity and inability to relate to others
What stage is this?
Adolescents build a steady identity for themselves based on their talents, values, relationships, culture etc. Those who don't develop an identity will suffer from confusion; uncertainty.

freedom of play, imagination and asking questions promotes initiation where children use their own resourcefulness to resolve problems. Feeling of guilt about initiating activities are formed when parents criticize severely, prevent play or discourage questions.

Young adults who achieve intimacy experience mature and intimate love. Failure to establish intimacy with others leads to a deep sense of isolation.
