》Must be greek,completely from a Hellinic race &must be physically fit.
》Savages & punished persons not allowed to participate.
》Had to take oath that they had trained 10 months in advance in their state & had stayed in Olympia1 month before the Games.
》Women were not allowed to see nor participate.
》They had to practice 1 month before participation.
》No professionals only amateurs could participate.

⏩Less attention was paid on awards, instead more stress was on honour & respect.
⏩Foodgrains & animals were given as awards,then a crown of olive leaves was given to the winner.
⏩They were also rewarded by erecting statues a& written poems.

》Starting ceremony-Lighten in the Olympic village of Greece & continues burning till it reaches the place where its organised.
》Closing ceremony-flame is extinguished.

⏩FRIENDSHIP
Nations who have tense relations come closer.Partcipants become friends instead of enemies.EG:Chins's "ping-pong diplomacy".

⏩SOLIDARITY
Feeling of brotherhood & unity among nations. creation of cohension between participants.

⏩FAIR PLAY
There should be justice to each player & team- no favourism towards any particular team. Rules & ruglations should be applied & followed.

⏩FREE FROM RACIST DISCRIMINATION-on the basis of caste,race & religion.
EG:1972 Munich Olympics-11 Israeli players murdered.

⏩PRESIDENT
Elected by its members. Term-8 years. Can be re-elected. Current IOC presi is Thomas Bach.

⏩VICE-PRESIDENTS
4 are elected by its members for 4 yrs. Can be re-elected.

⏩EXECUTIVE BOARD
-Presi, 4 vice-presi & 10 other members. Are elected by members from various countries. (in secret ballot by majority votes cast.)
Assumes general & overall responsibility of administration & management affairs.
