Hippocrates:

Hippocratic corpus- still used today, obtained a bunch of medical ideas, methods of treatment etc. E.g. He observes and studies an epileptic.

Only used natural treatment.

Creator of The Theory Of The Four Humours, if you had an imnbalance of one of or more humours you were ill. The four humours are, Blood, Black bile, Yellow bile, Phlegm. These humours were linked to elements and seasons. E.g. Blood, Spring, Air.

He wrote that God's did not cause disease however they could cure it.

Hippocratic Oath- doctors would sign this to make sure they followed a set of rules during procedures, and oathed to help and treat patients following this order; Diagnosis, Prognosis, Observation, Treatment.
