Mobility-the ability to move from one location to another.
Migration- a permanent move to a new location.

emigration- (out) movement from a location
immigration- (in) movement to a location

Net migration- the difference between emigration ang immigration
Why do people migrate?
1. Push factors- induce people to move away from their old residence.

Political push factor- (war, persecution). refugees -people who are forced to migrate from a particular country for political reasons.
Economic push factor-
Environmental push factor- (floodplain, landslide). Floodplain (of a river) area subject to flooding during a given number of years according to.. drought conditionPull factors- attract people to a particular new location.
