The Quran mentions duties and obligations

A source of Izza for the one who lives by it

Happiness

Arrogance

Opposition

He was a human being just like them

An Arab just like them

They disliked him even before prophet hood

Help Muhammad( peace be upon him)

Ignore Him

Stay firm on your religion

Since they are so high and mighty, their place is in the heavens and not in the Duniya

Allah challenges the Maccans to come up to the heavens and reveal a similar scripture like the Quran

Allah wanted to be close to the Maccans

Comforting the Prophet that every nation denies his Rasool, likewise the believers also face rejection and redicule

Upon rejecting the Rasool, it becomes mandatory upon Allah to punish such people

They are nothing but stories of the past

In the physical sense he had strength, power, authority

In the spiritual sense, inspite of having so much duniya, he was connected to Allah

He gave a lot of charity

When one is in authority, he must be available to the people, when they need him

Never be quick in passing judgements, listen to both the parties

It is better to listen to one party only

Test from Allah come suddenly, unexpected

It's quite possible we fail the test, however a mistake will not remain a mistake, if one turns to Allah in repentance

One should realize his mistake, learn from it thus this is the means of drawing closer to Allah

They followed their desires instead of preparing for the Akhirah

They forgot the Day of Hisaab

They believed the purpose of creation was in vain , hence lived aimlessly

There is a clear diffence between Iman and Kufur , hence their deeds are also not the same

Since their deeds are not the same, hence their final destination will also not be the same

To motivate a believer to do more good, to build his yakeen on the Day of judgement
