7th grade. Unit 6. Lesson 2. The city or the countryside?

We live in the [blank_start]suburbs[blank_end]. - It’s about 30 minutes from the city centre, but the air is much cleaner here. There are a few shops [blank_start]close at hand[blank_end]. - So we don’t have to travel to a huge shopping mall to shop for groceries. The area is very [blank_start]lively[blank_end]. - There are lots of cafes, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Our [blank_start]neighbourhood[blank_end] is very quiet. - There are no noisy places nearby. The area is getting more and more [blank_start]built-up[blank_end]. - New houses are built every year and there isn’t much space left. There is a lot of [blank_start]heavy traffic[blank_end] in the centre of the city in the morning. - There are so many cars that it’s impossible to get to school on time. It’s easy to [blank_start]get around[blank_end] Minsk. - There are many buses, trolleybuses and trams, and a well-developed metro system. The [blank_start]public transport system[blank_end] in our town is not very good. - Sometimes you have to wait for ages for the bus to come.
