In order for a PC to function, it must have a [blank_start]CPU[blank_end] connected to the motherboard via a heat-sink, have sticks of [blank_start]RAM[blank_end] installed on the motherboard, be connected to a working [blank_start]PSU[blank_end] which gives the computer its electricity. It must also have a [blank_start]hard-drive[blank_end] to install the operating system on and to allow it to store and retrieve data.
