Slide 1

Our perception of time passing is greatly influenced by predictability and expectations.   The greater hurry someone is in, the smaller chance that they will help someone in need.   Keeping the amount of time it takes to complete different tasks consistent within your design will improve a user's overall experience.   Breaking up tasks within your design can create an improved user experience because people need to think less.
