Learning Centre Rules
Logging
in
Upon
logging into a computer, you will start a 2 hour timer before you are logged
out of the system. This is so that everyone has an equal chance to use a computer. If you
need an extension on your time, please ask the LC staff.
You
can see how much longer you have by checking the timer in the bottom right
corner of your screen.
Food
and drink
You are allowed to drink bottled water in the Learning Centre. Please use the canteens for
any other drinks or food.
Noise
levels
Please
be respectful of others who are trying to work. If you are repeatedly causing
disruption, you may be asked to leave the Learning Centre.
Fines
If
you take out a book and do not return it on time, you will have to pay a fine. Please speak to the LC staff if you would like to extend your borrowing period.
ID
Cards
Like
anywhere else in the college, in the LC, you are required to wear your college
