5. People imagine objects tilted

If I asked you to draw a coffee cup, you would probably draw something like the picture on the right. Right?

Why not something like this?  It's a coffee cup too.

Truth is, the majority of people recognize objects faster and remember them longer from the first perspective.  Slightly above the object and offset a little to the left or right.  This is known as canonical perspective.  Keep that in mind when using images in your designs.
