Cell membrane ( membrana celular ) : Controls what substances can get into and out of the cell .
Cytoplasm ( citoplasma ) : Jelly-like substance, where chemical reactions happen. In plant cells there's a thin lining, whereas in animal cells most of the cell is cytoplasm.
Mitochondrion ( mitocondria ) : Mitochondrion are important parts of our cells because they take food and make energy that the rest of the cell can use.
Nucleus ( nucleus ) : Controls what happens inside the cell
Cell wall ( pared celular ) : Made of a tough substance called cellulose ,which supports the cell.
Chloroplast ( cloroplasto ) : Where photosynthesis happens - chloroplast contain a green substance called chlorophyll
Vacuole ( vacuola ) : Contains a liquid called cell sap, which keeps the cell firm
Ribosomes ( ribosomas ): Ribosomes are like small factories, that use available materials to build proteins.
