Exponent Equations
To solve an equation with exponents we try to get the base and the exponent on each side of the equation equal to the base and exponent on the other side of the equation.Expression=BASE^exponent or powerFor Example: x^3=64 is rewritten as: x^3=4^3by asking ourselves what to the power of 3 is equal to 64. It has to be the power of 3 as both sides of the equation must have the same base and exponent.
Solve these equationsx^3=8y^5=322^z=16x^3=274^y=645^z=125
Solve these equations giving both solutions where they exist.5x^4=802y^3=4323^x=1x^5-5=2725+y^3=1503^2+k=150
x^4=16x^2(2^n)^2=642m^5 =250m^2
