Axial Skeleton

Which provides a central support axis. It includes the skull, vertebral column, sternum (breastbone) and ribs.

Appendicular Skeleton Which includes the bones of the limbs as well as the shoulder girdle and pelvic girdle, which support and attach them to the axial section.
