Resumen del Recurso

Página 1

Renewable sources of energy: These sources can be replenished naturally in a short period of time Sunlight (solar) Wind Tidal Hydroelectric Biomass Geothermal heat

Non-renewable sources: Energy taken from finite resources These sources will run out in the future Fossil fuels Nuclear fuels

Fossil fuels: Coal Petroleum oil Natural gas

Nuclear fuels:Uranium oil

Energy from the sun: Fusion (a nuclear reaction) involves small nuclei combining to form larger ones This process involves a loss of mass, with the lost mass being converted to energy Roughly 4 billion kg of mass is converted to energy every second in the sun
