Definition: A theoretical analysis of the regularities groups exhibit as they change over time that identifies 5 stages of development: orientation (forming), conflict (storming), structure (norming), performance (performing), and dissolution (adjourning) (identified and labeled by educational psychologist Bruce Tuckman).
