He wanted to create an unified Europe
He made many military victories that made him indispensable for France
He made France an Empire and had victories in Russia, Austria and Prussia
He wanted to expand the ideas of equality and liberty
He set a Continental Blockade to Britain.No country under his control was allowed to import British goods. The countries that were from the anti-French coallition had to support it too.
He set members of his family as kings in the countires that depended on him
He set a civil code (laws applied to citizens)
He introduced divorce, civil marriage,adoption and an estate controlled education.
His military power started to decline when he failed his invasion to Russia. He was defeated in Leipzig in 1813
He was finally defeated in Waterloo in 1815, then he was exiled to St. Helena where he died in 1821
