Cell Signalling is how cells communicate

A cell may release a substance that binds to the receptors of another cell and causes a response

Cell signalling is really important in the immune response as it helps activate necessary types of WBC

e.g. T helper cells release substances that bind to receptors on B lymphocytes and activates them.
