Many people survive due to kindney dialysis, lung support, ect ect

Does not include babies or handicapped adults

Human life is worthy of special respect

Used by many religious believers regarding human life

Meaning that life is God given therefore making it of special value and worthy of the highest repect

Therefore it must be preserved and never destroyed

Genesis 1:27 'God created human beings making them to be like himself'

Job 1:21 'I was born with nothing and I will die with nothing. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away'

10 Commandments - You must not kill

Exceptions are made in war, capital punishment

Respect can equal dying with dignity

Singer is a modern philosopher that suggests that it would be more helpful to focues on the quality not the scantity of life
