what does ‘ergonomic’ mean? The design of equipment to increase the efficiency of the way it used by the human body to promote the health of the user.
Can the increase be explained by more computers in peoples homes? yes - more people have computing devices so the percentage of accidents may not increase but the number of accidents has. no - just because people have the computing device doesn't mean there are more accidents.
The use of wireless internet and equipment is on the increase. do you think this will have an effect on the number of accidents that occur? Yes because people can compute in more places so there's more places for accidents to occur so therefor wireless computing is a factor.
What sorts of injuries might be caused by new technologies such as the Nintendo Wii?With a Nintendo Wii, if your playing in a tight area you could injure yourself by swinging or moving around a lot, also with the Wii fit if you are checking your weight and it says you are over weight or under weight it could have a mental factor on you and make you even more ill as you could starve yourself or eat to much.
