Avoid alcoholic beverages, which may cause [blank_start]hypoglycaemia[blank_end]
If sick - [blank_start]never omit insulin[blank_end], always monitor BG and/or ketones every 2-4 hours, drink lots of fluid, rest, contact GP if persistent fever, vomiting, SOB, dehydration, loss of vision, chest pain, diarrhoea, BG above 14 mmol/L or ketones in the urine
Establish a plan for [blank_start]rotating[blank_end] injection sites and observe closely for changes in tissue such as [blank_start]hardness[blank_end], dimpling or sunken areas
