Check slide arming lever in disarmed position, pull up emergency door control handle until power assist takes over, door moves into ceiling, slide shall inflate automatically.

Check conditions outside safe, check slide arming lever in armed position, pull down emergency door control handle, no power assist available, door moves upwards and slide container rotates outboard automatically, slide shall inflate automatically.

Through one of the emergency exit doors by means of the slide as in this case the upper deck slides are still long enough to provide a safe exit from the aeroplane.

There are no dinghies as the slides of the emergency exits can also be used as rafts.

Activate the personally carried portable oxygen equipment and put on the mask, proceed to the upper deck, close the smoke barrier at the top of the stairs, take a seat in the upper deck cabin, fasten seatbelt.
