Pregunta 1

Pregunta
A percentage is a number out of [blank_start]100[blank_end] . 50/100 = 1/2, so [blank_start]50[blank_end]% = 1/2. 25/100 = 1/4, so [blank_start]25[blank_end]% = 1/4. 10/100 = 1/10, so [blank_start]10[blank_end]% = 1/10. 50% is a half so, to find 50% of an amount, you [blank_start]halve[blank_end] it or divide by [blank_start]2[blank_end] . To find 10% of an amount you divide by [blank_start]10[blank_end] . To find one quantity as a percentage of another: [blank_start]divide[blank_end] the first quantity by the second: first/second then [blank_start]multiply[blank_end] the answer by 100%: first/second × 100% If an amount is increased, the new amount is [blank_start]more[blank_end] than 100%. If an amount is decreased, the new amount is [blank_start]less[blank_end] than 100%.
