This module covers by far the most definitions and theorems this year so be wary. There are 6 chapters: mathematical language, functions, Differentiation, Applications of Differentiation, Integration and the Applications/techniques of integration.
This gos through the fundamental language in mathematics, and introduces set theory. Some of the proofs are also shown in the 'Numbers, Sequences & Series' module.
This goes mainly through all the rules off domain and ranges of functions, as well as what it means for a function to be injective and surjective. Other parts can be found in John's notes
This chapter looks importantly at the anti derivative method, known as integration. Like chapter 3, there are a lot of theorems and proofs to learn so be wary.
Expanding on chapter 5, there are again real world situations where the process of finding an anti derivatives comes to find solutions to those problems.
