Course Introduction This course covers Chemistry Topic C2.1 How have our ideas about atoms developed over time?.  This is part of Module C2: Chemical Patterns.  This is examined on Paper 2 and 4 of the OCR GCSE Combined Science B course.

The atomic model used today is not the one that was always accepted.  Understanding how this model evolved is important in our understanding of the modern model.  These slides detail how the model has evolved since the idea of an atom was first proposed in 1807.
