It is the objective of the Paper Presentations (PP) to critically review a number of academic articles. Prepare a 30 minute PPT presentation (allow 15 minutes for discussion). Participants should focus on the following issues: • What is the potential impact/importance of the paper? • Does the paper have clearly defined objective/rationale? • Are the potential contributions of the paper clearly outlined? • Does the literature review contain all the elements to build a case for the study? • Is the conceptual model in line with the extant literature and can the hypotheses be logically derived from this? • Are the methods/techniques appropriate to test the hypotheses in the conceptual model? • Are the findings clearly presented and explained? • Are the implications of the paper in line with the findings? • Are the conclusions presented supported by the findings? • Do the findings, implications and conclusions make an original contribution? • Does the paper acknowledge its own implications? The following guidelines should provide some guidance: for the preparation of the presentation: • The presentation should contain a critical review of the assigned reading. (Do not be afraid to provide a critical review of what you have read!) • Presentations should not be too descriptive! Do not merely summarize. Instead, interpret, interpret, and interpret! • Use the practical examples (cases) to illustrate the theory and concepts discussed previously in the course. • Look for controversial viewpoints that will enhance class discussion., e.g. by providing discussion points, or questions. • It is highly appreciated when additional sources of information (papers, articles, web content, etc.) are used. Feeding back concepts to material and cases previously covered in the course is always helpful and provides easy discussion points.   My paper:
