We are drawn to headlines that emphasize on food, sex, and danger. This concept is brought about by an idea that we actually have 3 brains. The new brain The mid brain The old brain The new brain's job is the logical, thinking part. The mid brain processes the information we gather. The old brain is most interested in our survival. Since the old brain was in function first for us before we learned to process our emotions and found out what is logical to us, the old brain takes over.
