We want people's time

Take a moment and think about the ideal parent or teacher. What characteristics do they have? Are they showering the children with toys and gadgets? Or are they spending time with them? Time is seen as a personal connection and experience between the person giving it and the person receiving it. Humans crave this connection (even the introverts just at different levels) and project that onto design. There is one notable exception though....
