Humans have an incredible ability to be able to pick out what is there hiding right before our eyes.  The main concept is an idea where you try and distract the reader or viewer to bring their attention to a particular thing on the page.

Your mind sometimes on occasion will make decisions or judgement calls unconsciously. A lot of companies or malicious individuals may try and take advantage of this ability humans have by getting you to click on something you otherwise wouldn't click.
