Workplace Culture Refers to the attitudes and standards of an organisation. Some employers may provide on-site childcare facilities to help parents manage their multiple roles. It is also important for employers to develop an inclusive workplace for individuals who are religious. For some, prayer during the day is important, so a separate room may be set up so that the employer feels more comfortable in the workplace
Workplace Grievance Procedures The aim of the grievance procedures is to resolve problems that arise, in a non-threatening way. If the worker feels that the matter has not been dealt with sufficiently, they may then approach the Trade Union, the NSW Anti-Discrimination Board or the Human Rights and Equal Employment Commission.
