1. Describe the organizational changes that took place between 1971 and 1973. Simplification of headquarters operations. Five assistant superintendents were replaced by one. Their portfolios were given to four directors. The policy changed so ministers could perform the wedding of a divorced person with a living former spouse. A restoration program for ministers.

3. What suggestions did Robert Harrison offer for improving racial relations? Education about the races and a strong recruitment program aimed at African-Americans.
4. How did Thomas Zimmerman describe the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on charismatics? He saw it as God's way of counteracting liberalism, humanism, etc. in our culture. Zimmerman considered the charismatics to be God's way of providing more workers for the end-time harvest.
5. What was Dennis Bennett's warning to the Conference on the Holy Spirit? Avoid extremes. Do not withdraw from the world. Do not concentrate on social matters and leave the gospel behind.
6. What was Loren Triplett's four-part strategy for foreign missions? 9. How did the Bakker and Swaggart scandals affect the Assemblies of God? The scandals damaged the AG's reputation, the Christian witness and evangelism. Some members were defrauded through the PTL Club. Missions projects such as children's suffered when Swaggart stopped giving toward them. Although the scandals feeding and education programs, medical ministries and Bible schools produced bad publicity for the AG, eventually it was recognized for its stand.
10. According to Billie Davis, what can Christians offer to marginalized people? Christians can help disadvantages people find the meaning of life while helping them find a home or get a job. When Christians do this, they help people at the deepest level.
