What is arterio-venous nicking? | Nick means part of the arteriole is opaque (atherosclerosis). There is a change in arteriolar wall so it is no longer see-through. Because artery is in front of the vein and the part of the wall of the artery is opaque, you can't see it, so it looks like there's a nick. |
