Most powerful of the Spanish Citizens social class? The Peninsulares. (Spanish/Portugal. They were born in the Old World (Spain) and were the first administrators.)
Who were almost as powerful as the Peninsulares? The Creoles. (Spanish/Portugal and they were born in the New World (Americas). They also dominated politics and the economy.)
Medium power? Mestizos (European and Amerindians) and Mulattoes (European and African).
Pretty much no power. Amerindians and Blacks- as they were usually slaves imported from Africa.
