Under what circumstances is abortion legal? If the pregnancy is less than 24 weeks: Risk of mother's or child's health; rape; incest; no money; still in school. After 24 weeks: High probability of health risks; foetus at risk of severe disability.
Name a European country in which abortion is illegal, and say why you think this country hasn't legalised this yet. Ireland: It has a high Catholic population and many Catholics disagree with abortion.
What is the Marie Stopes Clinic? A clinic that deals with abortion and other aspects of sexual health.
What is the legal time-limit for abortions in the UK? 24 weeks (with exceptions)
Do you think the time limit should be longer/ shorter? Why? I think the time limit should be set just before the point of viability, so in the future when it becomes possible to save a baby at a younger age, the time limit should be shorter.
