Racquet / Racket This is badminton player's most basic component. It is used to hit the bird(shuttlecock) and shape like a tennis racket and has strings but weigh much less.
Shuttlecock The badminton shuttlecock, also referred to as a shuttle or birdie, acts similarly to a ball in other racket sports. It has the small ball at the front to give it speed, and feathers extended from it to help it float when it is hit high into the air.
Net A mesh net divides the badminton court into two sides. A badminton net is placed lower than a volleyball net at five feet and one inch high on the sides and five feet high in the center.
Badminton Court Field length: 13.40 meters used for single party and double (double). Field width: 6.10 meters used for double party and 5.18-meter size used for single party.
Badminton shoes Special court shoes are worn to allow players to move quickly across the court and to give them power for quick movements around.
Apparels and Accessories Most essential items to have in your gym bag.
Grips Reduce injuries, increase the range of shots and produces more efficient hits.
Grip Powder Made out of magnesium carbonate hemihydrate, used to stop the hands sweating or being too slippery.
