Passing the Constitution | The passing of the Constitution was not an easy process you had federalist and anti-federalist. The federalist wanted a strong government without a Bill of Rights added to it and the anti-federalist wanted a weaker government and did not want a Constitution without a Bill of Rights. So we now have a Bill of Rights added onto our Constitution and we have a strong government. The first Constitution known as the Articles of Confederation which failed and now we have our strong Constitution. |
