Conscience The Voice of God within us Helping us Determine Right from Wrong. Humans have the Ability to do what is Right and Avoid what is Evil. The Conscience is God-Given because we are Made "Imago Dei"
Evil The Absence of Good and the Impulse to Seek our Own Desires at the Expense of the Good of Others which Often Results in Suffering. Due to the "Fall", Humans have a Tendency towards "Concupiscence"
Free Will The Fact that we are Free to make Choices According to our Own Desires and Wants. God gives us Freedom to Choose because he is Omnibenevolent. We are free to Choose between Right and Wrong
Goodness The Quality of Being Like God, Seeking the Well-Being of Others Selflessly. Being Virtuous, Kind, Holy
Incarnation The Belief that God became Fully Human in the Person of Jesus. Jesus is BOTH Fully Human and Fully Divine. The word means "Enfleshed"
Natural Law The Moral Laws of Right and Wrong, which are Universal and Absolute. Natural Law holds that Every Human can Discover, through Reason, what is Right and Wrong. The most Famous Theory was Given by Thomas Aquinas
Privation An Absence or Loss of Something. Evil is a Privation of Good - a "privatio boni"
Suffering Pain or Loss which Harms Human Beings. Some is caused by other Humans as a Result of Moral Evil, and some is Not - often called "Natural Evil"
