What are the pros and cons of input devices? | Pros; -A range allows different types of information to be documented e.g. photos, text, graphs -most simply connect with USB cable Cons; -Could be costly if they don't consider what is necessary/if it will be used -Keyboards can cause repetitive strain injury causing workers to be unhappy -If they don't check the device is suitable for the one using it (e.g. for the visually impaired) then it will waste money and reduce morale. |

What are output devices? give examples. | Are devices that take data off the computer in order for it to be used. This includes monitors, printers and projectors. |
What are the pros and cons of output devices? | Pros; -TFT screens have lower environmental impact and take up less room -printers can print in colour and black and white so they have multiple uses -some projectors can be portable/moving Cons; -Medical and safety issues need to be taken into consideration e.g. screens need to have a low flicker rate and be fully adjustable. -poorly chosen printers could result in a very expensive bills -Unsuitable devices for presentations could result in a loss of business |
