How many people are in the final formation of a jury? There are 12 people who sit on the jury and hear the case.
How are jurors chosen? Names for potential jurors are randomly pulled from the electoral role.
What are two things jurors cannot do in the courtroom? Jurors are not allowed to smoke or take pictures in the courtroom.
What is jury secrecy? Jury secrecy is where the jurors cannot discuss what happened in jury discussions/the case, unless to other jurors in a jury discussion room. If they speak about it anywhere else, they can be fined and imprisoned.
Who can challenge the jury? The prosecution and defence lawyers.
