Their lives, opinions and emotional states are very much to the fore, with the surface subject of the documentary often reduced to the situation of backdrops. |
MOCUKUMENTARY | a fiction film that uses documentary form to suggest it is actually a documentary. often comic in nature, the mockumentary can be so effective in using documentary form that audiences may be convinced they are watching a true documentary eg. many believed spinal tap (1985) |
