Pregunta Respuesta
An falling object will... accelerate due to the force of gravity.
The Resultant force will eventually become zero, this when... ... the resistive forces and weight are blancaed.
When the Resultant force is zero this is called... ... terminal velocity
A-B: The object accelrates becuase of gravity. The resisitive forces are less than that of te objects wieght.
B-C: The object is still accelrating but at a slower rate. The resistive forces are recoming closer to the wieght of the object.
C-D: The object is no longer acclerating it has reached it's terminal velocity. This is because the Resulant force is now zero. It is still falling until it hit the ground.
