HOW ICT IS USED IN BUSINESS IN SCHOOLS- Advertising, access information, collect data, administration and letters to parents, support in teaching students, help students learn
BUSINESS storing data, advertising, financial organisation/storage, computer design, selling services, planning and monitoring finance, communication with staff and customers
GOVERNMENT IN GOVERNMENT- storing private information (important for business), hold information for everyone (public), taxes and services, laws, petitions and questionnaires, electoral registers
INDIVIDUALS Gaming, social media, homework/research, contact with friends and family, shopping/selling, storing and taking pictures of family, tracking (deliveries)
REMOTE WORKING -Skype meetings -cloud
ADVANTAGES -saves money -if you are away you can still have meetings -easier and more efficient -saves time -more eco-friendly (less car journeys)
DISADVANTAGES -difficult to have big meetings -unreliable connection -hard to show people products in detail -technology could let you down (break) -don't interact with employees -can't see what's going on in the office -making sure everyone is free
