In what order does food pass through your organs? Mouth -> oesophageus -> Stomach -> Small intestine - > Large intestine -> anus
What stages does food go through to turn into energy? Food -> molecules -> absorbed by blood -> glucose -> energy!
What requires most of your energy? Muscles because they are constantly moving
Define glucose Glucose - a sugar used in repiration to produce energy
Define glycogen Glycogen - a storage substance made of glucose , it is stored in the liver
What is insulin? A hormone that tells your body when to change glucose into glycogen
What is Glucagon? A hormone that tells your liver to change glycagon back into glucose
What and how is glucose used? Glucose is used by cells in a process called respiration
