“Don’t forget to buy milk!” said Antonio to Lucia. Antonio reminded Lucia to buy milk.
VICTORIA: "Leave me alone!" Victoria told her friend to leave her alone.
“I’ll go to France on holiday” said John. (DECIDE) John decided to go on holiday to France.
“I think you should go to the dentist” Julie said to Tom. Julie advised Tom to go to the dentist.
“Don’t cross the road there” she said to the children. She warned the children not to cross the road there.
“How about having Indian food?” I said. I suggested having Indian food.
"Where have you been?" the mother asked her daughter. The mother asked her daughter where she had been.
"Could you please open the window?" The teacher to the students The teacher asked the students to open the window
“Right, let’s buy the car in the morning!” we said. (AGREE) We agreed to buy the car in the morning. We decided to buy the car in the morning.
“I’ll study really hard for the exam” said Luke. Luke promised to study hard for the exam.
Angela: I think it was you who told my secret. (ACCUSE) Angela accused me of telling her secret.
Francesco: No, I didn't bump your car. Francesco denied bumping my car.
Student to teacher: I am sorry, I am late. The student apologised for being late.
Wife to husband: I do want to invite Dan and Margaret as well. The wife insisted on inviting Dan and Margaret as well.
"How do you know that?" she asked me. She asked me how I knew that.
"I'd go and see a doctor if I were you," Julie said to me. Julie advised me to go and see a doctor.
"I can come and look after the children tomorrow night." Mary to her sister Mary offered to go and look after her sister's children the following night /the next day's night
Beth to Josh "Will you come later?" Beth asked Josh if he would go later.
Mrs Wilson: “No one has ever spoken to me like this before.” Mrs Wilson said/complained that no one had ever spoken to her like that before.
