It converts digital signal into analogue for the transmission of the telephone then converts analogue into digital for oncoming messages. |
| What is a broadband modem? | It connects to a computer using a telephone line and uses a Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) to achieve faster transition rates. It links a computer to allow internet access to the user. |
