"Building a Future: the WAZA strategy" Llamas and alpacas were no longer considered "wild animals" under the Act Vertebrate animas also protected by Animal Welfare Act 2006	Secretary of State issues guidance of standards of practice for zoos Considers normal behaviour, healthcare and protection from fear and distress Supplemented by Zoo Forum Handbook
