Resumen del Recurso
Hunchback in the park
STORY
A hunchbacked man stays in the park all day everyday
He sleeps on the streets and scavenges for food
A group of boys playing truant from school chase the man and mock his condition
He tries to keep out of sight of the park keeper
He's isolated from everything
Thinks about tall strong woman who would protect him
maybe he's thinking of his mother
FORM AND STRUCTURE
Contains several characters who all give their perspective
A narrative poem
Hunchback i silent but we can access his feelings through the narrator
Poem is a series of observations
Loosly structured around the narrator recalling memories
Visual descriptions build up to give a dreamlike quality
MY IDEAS
He suggests that the hunchback is afraid of everyone and their judgments of him
I think the narrator is somebody who used to watch these happenings or prehaps he as one of the school boys
