    1. The external servers are called HOSTS and are owned by a hosting company.

  3. Cloud users can then, provided by their host, access

    3. Software
  4. accessibility
    1. They do not directly access servers
    2. Web browsers and mobile apps are easy ways to access cloud
2. Benefits
  1. Cost
    1. You only pay for the storage you use not how much it costs to maintain the hardrives
  2. Availability
    1. This data can be received anywhere you can get connection to the internet.
3. Drawbacks
  1. Reliability
    1. It depends on how reliable the host of your data is
  2. Software
    1. The company may not be using the latest and fastest versions
  3. Security
    1. No control over the stored files, trust is required
  4. Potential low performance
    1. The speed of accessing data may be slower than if you installed it yourself.

      1. Scans for the correct RFID chips so it only opens for your animal

      1. The RFID chip can also be used to order and scan groceries within this allowing you to have constant stock of an item
