                      1. The commonest used chemotherapy combination for small cell is:
                        1. Cisplatin and etoposide
                          1. CAV (cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine)
                            1. GemCarbo (gemcitabine and carboplatin)
                              1. For relapsed disease:
                                1. ACE (doxorubicin, cyclop- hosphamide and etoposide)
                                2. Topotecan:
                                  1. for people whose SCLC has relapsed after treatment, but only if they are not able to have doxorubicin
                                3. Chemotherapy for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
                                  1. NSCLC is not as sensitive to chemotherapy as SCLC.
                                    1. Surgery or radiotherapy are the main treatments.
                                      1. Chemotherapy may be given before or after surgery or radiotherapy
                                        1. Chemotherapy with either:
                                          1. Gemcitabine, paclitaxel, docetaxel or vinorelbine
